Job Overview
The Senior Developer role involves working on medium to large bespoke website development projects; developing new functionality, working with existing functionality and providing assistance to the support team for the overall maintenance of the (internally developed) CMS software.
Responsibilities and Duties
The position of Senior Developer requires the following:
- Develop functionality on website projects; utilising the existing CMS tools.
- Work both autonomously and as part of a development team to deliver website projects to a timeframe.
- Provide support for existing projects to provide continuity of service to customers.
- Communicate effectively to customers within a project environment, where necessary, via both telephone and email.
- Provide constructive input to the overall direction of the development team.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will exhibit commercial experience in the following;
Essential
- .NET (asp.net; vb.net; C#)
- MS SQL
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery
Desirable, but not essential
- JSON
- PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of web services, XML, cXML
